What to Expect
Visiting a new place can be intimidating; we want to do our best to answer any questions you might have about joining us at Lake Shipp.

Where do I park?
You will find parking all around the property. Feel free to park wherever you like. Most of our parking area is grass, but there are a few spots in the front of the Sanctuary building that are concrete for those who have a harder time getting around.

Where do I go?
When you arrive, head to the foyer of the sanctuary building. Inside you will find our welcome center and a greeter who will be happy to help you with anything you need.

What do I wear?
We are a casual church. You will see people in a variety of clothing options, from suits to shorts and t-shirts. We want you to feel comfortable and welcome!

What about my kids?
At Lake Shipp Baptist Church we value the entire family worshiping together; therefore, children of all ages are welcome in our service. We offer a nursery for children 2 years and under during the worship service. One of the greeters in the foyer will be happy to help you get your little one checked into our nursery. We have a special time halfway through our service called Kid’s Time. We invite all children, from PreK to 5th grade, to come down front for a short lesson designed for them. After this time, children in Kindergarten and under are welcome to go with our childcare team for the remainder of the service. You can meet a team member in the foyer after Kid’s Time.
